Lauren Huret – Prophecies of the Noosphere

Roehrs & Boetsch is delighted to announce the first gallery solo exhibition of French-born, Swiss-based Lauren Huret's.
Starting with a fantasized reconstruction of the 1989's CERN office in which the World Wide Web was invented, Huret reimagines the origins of the Internet from a grotesque and mystic perspective. In doing so, she explores "media bewitchment", and continues to develop a critical view on how computerized culture is shaping our lives today.
